Fateh's Café: Celebrating the Culinary Legacy of the Tiger Man

Fateh Singh Rathore, the legendary "Tiger Man of Ranthambhore," dedicated his life to protecting India's majestic tigers. But his passion wasn't limited to conservation; Fateh also had a unique, flavorful approach to cooking shaped by his extraordinary life. Fateh's Café honors his legacy, offering a taste of the simple yet delicious dishes he loved.

From the Desert to the Jungle

Fateh's culinary journey began in the Thar Desert, where his mother introduced him to traditional Rajasthani fare like Doodh Rabdi, Mixed Dals, and Kair and Sangri. Later, as a young Ranger in Mt. Abu, he embraced the rich flavors of Rajasthani royal cuisine, mastering game-based dishes.

After moving to Ranthambhore, Fateh maintained a vegetarian diet, but his palate was influenced by decades of living in the jungle. He developed recipes that were simple, wholesome, and often cooked over wood fires.
